Checkmate are pleased to announce an exciting collaboration with EMQC a leading provider of NVQ training facilities to the Construction Industry. This relationship will help give both regional and national developers and builders the opportunity to train and develop their staff from ground level up. The NVQ process enables the student to achieve an on the job formally recognised qualification at all levels including company directors. The NVQ’s cover a wide range of subject including site management, construction process and management as well as the new homes sales process.
Depending on the role and experience of the individual, several levels of qualification can be achieved within a relatively short space of time, each NVQ level is typically achieved over a 6 month period. The business then benefits from a more highly qualified team of job specific trained staff. Depending on the grade of NVQ chosen the student will achieve Associate status within the Chartered Institute of Building and an NVQ Grade 5 will allow the student to immediately obtain full membership of the Chartered Institute of Building
